African Museum

My Experience at Brussels' African Museum

I went with my classmates and teachers to visit the African Museum of Brussels.

Visiting this museum made me learn a bunch of cultural and historical things about the African continent that I didn’t know before. Also, it was an enriching experience due to the different sections that the museum has.

On one hand, I was impressed by the large collection of accessories from African tribes, like dresses, masks, armaments, jewellery, etc.

On the other hand, it’s fascinating that this museum apart from all the unique exhibitions focuses on the history, culture and diversity of the African continent, also has an animal section with a lot of different animals and insects. 

To summarize, I enjoyed spending time in this museum. And I also think this museum is a good place for children to go and stimulate their curiosity by enriching their knowledge by learning about Africa's cultural diversity, the respect for different cultures, and reflecting on racial discrimination, and equality and justice.
