Before starting the teaching practices, I thought that the timetable of the school would be more or less the same as the timetable of Spain. But the first day of observation, I realised I was wrong.
In the school, the children have 2 breaks where they eat two different meals. The first break is about 30 minutes and the second one is the big break of 1 hour 30 minutes.
The different subject lesson are around 30 minutes long and the different classes are mixed with students from two different courses.

I think that the worst part of my teaching practices was the communication because in the school the main language they do all the subjects is Dutch and, I didn't know how could I communicate with the students because not all children knew English or have a high level of English.

An expectation that I had was that I thought that the kids would have a higher level of English and, some classes would be in English.
How does the practice fit into me?
In terms of professional and intercultural learning, this practice was essential for me. It has allowed me to observe and experience the educational system used in a different country rather than in Spain. I hope I will apply all that I have learn in my future job as a teacher.
